Coldwater Machine Company, a leading engineered solutions and precision machining company that manufactures and integrates assembly automation and special machines, has announced a 27,500 sq. ft. expansion to its current manufacturing space, bringing the company's facility total to 132,500 sq. ft. This new addition will double the company's build area with the addition of three new bays, each at 60-ft. x 150-ft., dedicated to the assembly of automated solutions.
Coldwater Machine’s climate-controlled facility features over 45 machine tools and overhead crane systems up to 25-tons. There is also an on-site Solid State Joining Center dedicated to the development of technologies that address the joining of lightweight and dissimilar materials. Additionally, Coldwater has inspection and test equipment to support internal machining needs as well as its customer’s build-to-print activity for precision parts. Coldwater Machine Company moved into its current facility in 1999, which was a greenfield site comprised of 78,500 sq. ft. located on 19 acres. In 2013, another 27,000 sq. ft. was added to support growing customer demand for turnkey automated systems. The current expansion is anticipated to be completed by November 31st of 2017. |
