Assembly
Assembly is a broad term that can cover a range of applications. Basically our niche is integrating value added processes into the typical assembly process by offering creative engineered solutions that are unique, followed with a turnkey system that is packaged around your parts.
Often these machines are integrated with automated feeders, manipulators, transfer devices, conveyors, inserters, and transfers. Typically driven and controlled by either servo, pneumatic, or hydraulic, usually requiring part presence, positioning feedback and sequencing provisions.
We have built assembly equipment for non-traditional applications such as telescoping two tubes together and expanding the tubing wall to lock the two parts together. Other joining methods include metal staking, interlocking, projection welding, friction welding, ultrasonic welding, riveting, spring clips, MIG welding, adhesive, and interference fit.
